Karate kid

In late April, we went and visited the karate school that Tom and Mason attend and Luke was really interested in joining.  So we started him in May and he has been so committed and worked so hard and has been promoted from white belt to orange belt!  It is quite amazing to see his eagerness and his cooperation when he attends his classes.  We didn't really see this level of enthusiasm with either soccer or t-ball so I feel pretty sure this is the right activity for him for now.  He is a very goal-oriented child and is really eager to earn his black belt.  Here he is in his uniform and orange belt with his instructors!

Even Katie shows an interest in karate and likes to say the "karate kids creed".  I was finally able to capture her on video and will try to upload that shortly but trust me, it's super cute!!!
