Well, we got the all clear from the doc, now it is back to work and full steam ahead.
The doctor took a closer look at the results and did a few more pokes and prods, and announced there is nothing to worry about. I think we were in the hospital for no more than a hour. Upon hearing that, Marlina immediately shifted back into work mode, while I breathed a sigh or relief.
This is week is flying by, especially as the roles have changed. This week, stone work on the outside is commencing. So far, I have been by the house everyday and sometimes two or three times a day, whereas Marlina has only come by a few times. I may or may not have had something to do with that, however.
On Monday morning, Marlina got dressed to go to the gym while I got dressed to go to work. I was meeting the my guys at 7:00 to get started on the stone work. A thought crossed my mind when I glanced her way. I didn't really want her coming by the house in her shorty shorts and a sports bra. My wife is smoking hot and I am already nervous about my workers working on my house. I am preparing for a barrage of requests for raises next week because they see where the boss lives. I can either give them a raise or not give them a raise, but there is nothing I can do about their wives not looking as good as mine does. I hope she understands.
Anyways, the stone work is taking shape, but as usual, I am behind the eight ball. I haven't ordered the cast stone, I don't really know how the stucco detail is supposed to go, and there still is no place to park. I have faith, however, that all things will turn out for the best.
