The first Uh-oh!

Well, it was bound to happen.  We had our first uh-oh moment.  Now that we see some of the finishes going up, we are also the recipients of "Oh my gosh, who chose that? I didn't think it would look like that."  And that is me talking to myself in my head about the choices I made.  I can't imagine what the installers were thinking:  "OMG they that want that on their walls. Whatever, at least they are paying me."

Anyways, I am trying to explain to Marlina that this is the cost of doing business.  These things happen.  We can fix it.  Its not that bad.  Basically I am grasping at anything to make some of our choices seem ok, but they really are not.  But, we will fix them.  We will get them right.  In the grand scheme of things, if I have to pay $500 to replace some tile now, it is much better than me having to look at some ugly tile for the rest of my life.

Now if I can just explain it to my accountant........
