Education, homebuilder style

Well, Marlina and I are truly getting an education about building a home together.  And I am not talking about construction techniques.  I am speaking about communication between the two of us, desperately trying to present a unified voice to all those other people involved. The question remains, how do the two of us present a unified voice when we haven't learned to agree on what we want....
